Primary School History Events

Offered by Sarah Davies and Anna Ruth

Workshops

Sarah now offers a number of primary led sessions based on her series of children’s books. They can be tailor made to your requirements. Sarah and her assistant Anna Ruth are always keen on devising new plans to make history come alive, in primary schools. Sarah has led many sessions for primary school children with seminars designed by her. She has experience of bespoke sessions based on the requirement of the school learning team. With school trips restricted due to Covid, this is an excellent way of enriching the curriculum for primary school students.

Author Visit

Sarah Davies will come into the school sharing her passion for books and her journey on becoming an author for the series ‘Big Stories for Little Historians’

Sarah will read students one of her books (chosen by the primary school) and students will be able to have their book signed.

Sarah can include souvenir book in the price of her session or students can have the opportunity to purchase a book individually.

Following this Sarah is happy to answer a class letter and update them on big stories. Sarah would also love some Big stories for Little Historians pictures and illustrations by students to appear in her picture gallery on her website.

Primary school consultancy

Following our successful workshops, this was requested by primary school teachers. We as subject specialists are happy to come in and work with the needs for your school in delivering a more interactive and engaging history curriculum.

Delivering inset to staff or helping you rejuvenate lessons.

Of course the stories provide all the hard work for the teachers! We just need to come up with the activities.

History is always the best subject as it is taught through story telling and can have so many cross curricular links.

Of course we are very bias here at BSLH HQ
